HOLDING DEPOSIT
The equivalent of 1 weeks rent (non refundable)
e.g if your rent is £1000 pcm, a holding deposit of £230 will be taken. In the event a tenant fails the references, credit checks, right to rent checks or withdraws from the transaction, the holding deposit is non refundable. If everything is satisfactory, the holding deposit will be off set against the deposit which is 5 weeks rent
Five weeks rent as deposit
eg if your rent is £1000 pcm the deposit will be £1153.00 less the initial holding deposit of £230 leaving a balance of £923.00
